The Pension Fund of the North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Psychotherapists (PTV) is also responsible for Baden-Württemberg.

If you have become a compulsory member of the relevant State Chamber of Psychotherapists in Baden-Württemberg, you are obliged to join the Pension Fund.

As members, you and your surviving dependants are entitled to the following benefits:

• Old-age pension
• Disability pension
• Survivors’ benefits (widow’s, widower’s or orphan’s pension)
• Lump-sum payment for surviving spouses
• Refund of contributions if you terminate your membership before being granted an old-age pension
• Transfer of contributions to another pension provider

Note: In addition, upon application, you may receive grants towards the costs of necessary, particularly extensivemedical rehabilitation measures to maintain or restore your ability to work. You are not entitled to this.

As a member of the pension scheme, you must pay regular monthly compulsory contributions. Under certain conditions, you may be exempted from the obligation to pay contributions, for example if you are compulsorily insured under the statutory pension scheme.
